Amit Chowdhury, alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Jadavpur University, Kolkata and avid mountaineer who has led several expeditions to the Himalayas including Mount Everest. Trained in HR, skilled facilitator, coach and OD analyst, Wing Commander Chowdhury took early retirement from the IAF to bring to the corporate world his rich experience of working with senior teams, designing and facilitating motivational, team and personal development programs. Amit was awarded the Vishist Seva Medal by the President of India. He has facilitated learning initiatives for several corporate clients such as ITC, Nokia, Group M, Mediaedge, Comprotech, Tata Interactive Services, ICI Paints, Microsoft, Vodaphone, Oracle, Foster Wheeler, INX Media and Brittania and is a accredited facilitator for administering the FIRO-B® instrument.

Peter Stewart brings substantial multi-cultural experience and insights into corporate and private work practices and mixed work cultures. A passion for sports and travel has resulted in many outdoor and pioneering pursuits, including work with major network filming projects in Australia, Nepal, Tibet, India and Sri Lanka. Training alongside Robert Kiyosaki for eight years (New York Times Best Seller 5 years running & World Stage Presenter) Peter enhanced his training programs to combine the outdoors' and adventure as the learning medium for organizations like HSBC, Cisco, Nike, Wipro and several others. Peter is an Australian Citizen living abroad since 1995 and traveling Asia for work and research since the 80's.

Saraswati Sharma (ASSOCIATE FACULTY) comes with over 12 years of corporate experience in Learning and Development. Saraswati has been delivering program on Service Skills, Personal Effectiveness, Out Bound Team building, Assertiveness Skills, and effective communication skills programs. She has worked across industries varying from manufacturing to IT, ITES,PSU's and financial services. Saraswati is a post graduate from Delhi University with International Diploma in Teaching and Training from City and Guilds (UK).She is pursuing intership program with 'Sumedhas' Academy for human context and is a accredited facilitator for administering the FIRO-B® instrument. Saraswati is a yoga and meditation practitioner.

David Sidebottom, a  British national, currently working in Sri Lanka as a trainer / facilitator with with iZone Education in addition to consulting with local NGO’s part time. A relaxed personality creates a natural and easy affinity with participants. Working in the area of staff training and development for the past 9 years he was the training manager for a UK company “Boons” a hospitality industry company owning hotels / pubs. His last UK based employer was “Go Outdoors”, the largest outdoor adventure retailer in the UK. Since arriving in Sri Lanka  he has been involved in program development and facilitating programs for with our clients i.e. HSBC, Fonterra, UNDP, J L Morrissons. In addition Dave has an immense talent as a musician (singer/guitar) and has several of his own CD’s.

Amit Dasgupta, with almost a decade of experience in training & teaching people, is an experiential educator, trained and mentored by some of the best brains in the facilitation industry. Amit has been instrumental in creating, training & coaching the largest & finest outdoor educators’ team in the country for over 5 years. Amit’s specialty lies in content development & curriculum design for personal development programs, customized for a varied customer base. His in depth understanding of team dynamics & specific customer needs has enabled him in prescribing & administering interventions, leading to a paradigm shift & not just short term changes. He has been an integral part of delivery for several hundred programs for different clients, including senior leadership programs for Danone, HSBC & DBOI. A product of Delhi University, Amit is also a trained mountaineer and had led several expeditions to the Himalayas.

Tirthankar Dash B.E (Electronics& Telecom) and an MBA with 14 years of collective experience in the corporate landscape covering industries of engineering, advertising, consumer goods, petrochemicals, research & consulting, in India, Srilanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam. Tirthankar has competencies in marketing, organisational process management and life enhancement skills training. Tirthankar has been a guest faculty in business schools and training institutions. Takes time off from his consulting work to fulfil his passion for developing capabilities among individuals yound and old purely as a social responsibility.

Suman Mitra. Alumnus of NIM Uttarkashi. Accomplished rock climber, experienced and accomplished outdoors trainer. Has worked extensively on Corporate and Youth programs with adventure training organisations.

 

Kritika Uniyal. Qualified Mountaineer and rock climbing enthusiast, an MBA and alumnus of Miranda House. As an accomplished skier, has represented the country at the Asian Winter Games Has worked on Youth programs with adventure training companies.
